The IT Workplace Officer is responsible for the coordination of technical and information systems in Mapan. They direct staff, determine necessary technology advances and educate employees on the use of software and hardware used in an organization's day-to-day operations. They also manage budgets related to IT workplace tools and equipment. They lead a helpdesk team that are the frontline to support employees' need for IT related working tools.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the company’s Internet and information technologies (IT) assets, including computer hardware, software, systems, networks, office IT tools, etc.

  • Maintain all information technology equipment

  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks

  • Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests

  • Provide technical support across the company

  • Continuously seek improvement of the IT workplace related sections

Requirements

  • Degree in IT and System Technology field or its equivalent

  • Experienced in IT office support

  • A technical, logical thought process

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Good written and verbal communications skills

  • Ability to identify and resolve issues regarding IT in a manner that is timely

  • Understanding about Administration Asset Management (Hardware, Software)

  • Able to manage budget and cost related internet, hardware and software

  • Passion about technology

  • Understanding of the implementation of ISO 27001: Information Security Management is a plus
