Brand / Public Relations Manager

In this role, you will help to:

  • Contribute to business and brand strategy by translating the company vision and market insights into brand strategy incl. communication and PR strategy that deliver our brands’ growth objectives in a short to mid term plan

  • Balance the need to strengthen the brand and drive business performance by developing brand communication and campaign for Mapan as an ecosystem that will resonate with MUM/members

  • Responsible for developing comprehensive marketing plans by defining MUM/member segmentation, positioning which articulates the value proposition, messaging that links each feature to a customer-oriented benefit, competitive differentiation, communication channels, marketing activities for Mapan both as a brand and organization.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the owner of the development and messaging of the brand narrative

  • Be the subject matter expert for anything related to brand, communication and PR hence you need to stay current on market trends and competitive activity

  • Responsible for defining and leading the mid term brand communication strategy as guidance for other stakeholders: community, digital, and product marketing team

  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation for any brand and PR activities along with the stakeholders: community, digital, and product marketing team

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with external stakeholders like media, influencer community, etc 

Requirements

  • Passionate about brand building especially for the brand that focus on low income community

  • Have at least 4 years of experience in brand management / marketing communication / PR function

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally

  • Have experienced in FMCG or technology industry is preferred

  • Self motivated, creative & strategic thinker, have strong communication skills, always look forward for opportunities to grow the brand, and excited to work with in high paced environment
